Ghost Cut-Out Cookies

  • 8 ounces Sugar
  • 12.8 ounces Butter
  • 3.2 ounces Eggs
  • 0.2 ounces Vanilla
  • 20 ounces All Purpose Flour
  • pinch of Salt



Cream butter & sugar together until light. Scrape down.

On low speed slowly add eggs and vanilla until thoroughly combined. Scrape down.

Combine flour and salt together & then add to mix.

On low speed just until flour incorporated. Scrape down well and mix just to reincorporate ingredients.

Press out dough to a round disc and wrap with plastic wrap. Refrigerate until firm enough to roll out.

On floured surface roll out to about ⅛” thickness. Cut out desired shape with cookie cutter. Put on a sheet pan with parchment paper.

Bake 350 for 10-12 minutes until you reach the level of doneness you like. Let cool before handling.

NOTE: You may sprinkle sugar on top but do this before baking. No need to put water or egg wash on to make sugar stick.
